Bike tour about urban infrastructure
On this bike tour, we will find out how the city of Amsterdam allocates its public space. We start at the biggest transportation hub, Central Station, to discover how the different flows of traffic are regulated. There is even a new bike parking for 7000 bikes underneath a harbour basin!
We look at how commuters and visitors flow from the station into the finer grain of streets in the city centre, and what it takes to keep the public space a nice place to be.
Cycle along the most beautiful paths in Amsterdam!
Once outside of the historic city, we’ll show you the newest ideas of making neighborhoods people-friendly again. Replacing car parking spots with lush greenery for a more livable place. We will end with the most beautiful bike lane in town, right through the Rijksmuseum. So get on your bike, see the most beautiful infrastructure and experience mobility with us!
